WomensLax.com Announces 2009 All-American Team and Season Award Winners
Chicago, IL: Senior attacker, Hannah Nielsen, headlines the list of award winners with her second straight WomensLax.com Player of the Year award and she is joined by two-time Attacker of the Year, Katie Rowan. Caitlyn McFadden, Amber Falcone, Morgan Lathrop, and Karri Ellen Johnson all receive individual recognition in their respective positions. Maryland’s Cathy Nelson Reese is the 2009 WomensLax.com Coach of the Year. The 2009 WomensLax.com All-American Team includes 17 players from 12 different Universities. The full All-American team is listed below.
Player of the Year: Hannah Nielsen - Northwestern
Attacker of the Year: Katie Rowan - Syracuse
Midfielder of the Year: Caitlyn McFadden - Maryland
Defender of the Year: Amber Falcone - North Carolina
